☕ Starbucks Table Talk @ Library West

At Library West's Starbucks, four UF students sit crowded around a table, laptops open and coffee cups scattered everywhere. Here’s what they had to say about how they use AI:

Maya (Accounting)

“I use ChatGPT to check my finance homework. Not to get the answers straight up—but to explain why the answer is what it is. It’s like having a tutor at 2 a.m.”

Ethan (Marketing)

“For me, it drafts my case study outlines in half the time. I feed it the case details and it helps me map out the sections. Then I rewrite it in my own words.”

Sofia (Business Analytics)

“I use Gemini for data stuff—it’s great at summarizing articles and datasets. But I always double-check the sources. Professors are warning us about hallucinations.”

Jayden (Entrepreneurship)

“I’m more of a Perplexity guy. It cites everything. If I need quick background on an industry, it’s faster than hunting through databases. Though when it gets serious, I still hit up Business Library databases.”

The Starbucks hum of espresso machines and voices makes it feel less like a café and more like a mini-seminar on how UF students weave AI into their daily lives—creatively, cautiously, and with plenty of caffeine.
